Finding Your Medicine - 3 Days

A Three-Day Retreat at Mother’s House
Some things cannot be found by searching. They surface when you slow down, turn inward, and give them room.
This retreat is three days at Mother’s House in Weert. Three days away from the noise of your life. Three days of somatic work, shadow exploration, inner child practice, and honest encounter with yourself.
No performance required. No particular destination. Just the work, held well, in a container built for it.
The medicine is you.
What the retreat is
Finding Your Medicine is a structured three-day residential retreat that draws on two lenses held simultaneously: the therapeutic — nervous system, shadow, attachment, integration — and the shamanic, which understands the body as a field, experience as information, and the self as something that can be retrieved.
These are not two separate tracks. They are two languages for the same territory.
The retreat moves through three days with a clear arc: the body and nervous system on Day One; shadow work and inner child work followed by ceremony on Day Two; and integration on Day Three.
The three days
Day One — The Body
Doors open at 15:00. The afternoon is for settling in — finding your room,
meeting the space, meeting each other. In the evening we begin: an opening
circle, somatic foundations and nervous system work, and a breathwork session
before dinner.
| Day One | The Body |
| 15:00 | Arrival and settling in |
| Late afternoon | Orientation and welcome |
| Early evening | Opening circle — somatic foundations and nervous system work |
| Before dinner | Breathwork session |
| Evening | Dinner and rest |
Day Two — The Shadow, The Inner Child, and The Ceremony
The second day holds the deepest work. The morning moves through shadow — the parts of us we have learned not to look at directly. The late morning turns toward the inner child: the parts that adapted early, that protected themselves, that have been waiting to be met.
In the afternoon, the ceremony begins. Everyone is part of it.
| Day Two | The Shadow, The Inner Child, and The Ceremony |
| Morning | Shadow work — projection, disowned parts, what has been pushed away |
| Late morning | Inner child work — early wounding, what was formed and what was lost |
| Early afternoon | Preparation and settling before ceremony |
| Afternoon – evening |
Ceremony — held by the Mother’s House team |
The ceremony
Everyone is part of the ceremony. How you show up within it is something we explore together in the preparation conversation before the retreat.
Some people participate with psilocybin — at a dose that is right for them, micro or full. Some come without a substance and sit in the field. Those on the Formation Path may hold space as part of their own development.
There is no hierarchy between these. The ceremony holds all of it. Tamara guides the conversation about what is right for you — you do not
need to arrive with an answer.
Day Three — Integration
The final day is for integration — bringing what has moved across the three days into something that can be carried home. There is space for reflection, for writing, for sitting with what has opened. The retreat closes gently.
| Day Three | Integration |
| Morning | Integration practice — reflection, writing, individual and group space |
| Late morning | Sharing and closing ceremony |
| Early afternoon | Closing circle |
| 14:00 – 16:00 | Departure |
Extending your stay
Mother’s House is available before and after the retreat for those who want more time. An extra day before to arrive slowly. An extra day after to stay with what has opened before returning to ordinary life.
Additional nights at Mother’s House can be arranged when you book. Meals, space, and the same quiet container. Speak with us when you enquire.
Where this fits
Finding Your Medicine as a retreat stands on its own. You do not need to go further. Many people come once and return to their lives changed in quiet, lasting ways.
For those who want to go deeper, the retreat is also the entry point to the Finding Your Medicine year-long path, two residential visits and a full integration year, with ongoing supervision, community, and a structured library of knowledge developed over years of practice.
And for those who feel called to work with others in this field, the Formation Path builds from here.
None of this needs to be decided before you come. Come for three days. See what happens.
Who this is for
Finding Your Medicine is for people who sense that something in them is ready to be met. You do not need to know what you are looking for. You do not need a background in any of this. You need to be willing.
The retreat is suitable whether plant medicine is part of what draws you here or whether it is not. The ceremony afternoon is one option among several. The work across all three days stands entirely on its own.
You do not need to be ready. You need to be willing.
